Position Overview
We’re a husband and wife owned cleaning company in Dane County, and we’re looking for a Training & Recruiting Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of cleaning professionals. You’ll build and implement our company-wide training program, recruit and onboard new staff, and help us maintain the standards and culture that make Happy House what it is. Cleaning experience is highly preferred — but not required if you bring strong leadership, creativity, and genuine alignment with our values.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve the training program and materials
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new cleaning staff
- Train and mentor team leaders (“train the trainers”)
- Occasionally train cleaning technician trainees in the field when Trainers are unavailable
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Oversee quality assurance to ensure adherence to company standards
- Conduct field visits to coach staff and reinforce expectations (supervisory role; not responsible for cleaning)
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with technology and software
- Cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Positive, creative, and proactive mindset
