portal-door Let Us In — We’re Ready to Roll!

One of the most common delays? Access issues. If you won’t be home when we arrive, please ensure we have a reliable entry method in place — such as a working garage code, a key in a lockbox, or an unlocked door. Dead batteries are a common culprit, so double-check them if needed. Our technicians are authorized to wait up to 20 minutes outside the home. If we are unable to gain entry within that time, the appointment will be marked as a lockout, and a lockout fee will apply.

portal-laptop Working From Home?

We’re happy to clean around your remote work setup — all we ask is a little planning. If you'd like us to clean your home office, the easiest time is right when we arrive. We’re flexible, but timing is everything: if we save your office for the end and you’re tied up on a call, we may have to skip it to stay on schedule for the next client. Let us know your preferences ahead of time — communication and consistency go a long way!

portal-dishes Dishes in the Sink?

We’re pros at cleaning sinks, but if yours is piled high with dishes, we won’t be able to give it the deep clean it deserves. If the sink is clear before we arrive, we can really make it shine! Otherwise, we’ll skip it and focus on the rest of your home. We do not wash dishes, load/unload dishwashers, or rearrange sink items.

portal-toys Tidy First, Sparkle Later

No need to deep clean before we arrive — that’s our job! But spending a few minutes picking up clutter (like toys, laundry, or mail) helps us focus on real cleaning instead of working around stuff. We don’t move or organize clutter; we clean around it. Keeping surfaces clear helps us maximize time spent cleaning and gives you more bang for your buck. Pro tip: Bins and baskets make a great quick fix to stash clutter and easily put it back later.

portal-dog A Note About Pets

We love your furry family members! If your pets are friendly and calm, they’re welcome to be around during the cleaning. However, if your pets are reactive, protective, or easily startled, please secure them in a separate room or kennel during our visit for everyone’s safety and efficiency. If your reactive pets are free-roaming and cause delays or safety concerns, we may need to skip certain areas or shorten the visit.

portal-stove Hot Surfaces & Recently Used Appliances

Did you know spraying chemicals or wiping hot surfaces can damage them—and even be a fire hazard? Please use stovetops, ovens, kettles, and other appliances well before your cleaning so they have time to cool. Even having the oven on prevents us from cleaning the stovetop. If these areas are still hot or in use, we won’t be able to clean them safely.

portal-notebook Seasonal Reminders

Winter: Keep walkways, steps, and driveways clear of snow and ice. If our team cannot safely enter, the cleaning will be cancelled and a lockout fee may apply. Pro tip: Replace door lock batteries before winter—lockouts are often caused by dead batteries! Summer: Please turn on your air conditioning before we arrive. This helps our team stay cool and focused during your visit, and ensures our equipment and cleaning products perform their best in cooler conditions.

portal-candle Candles, Diffusers, and Delicates

We do our best to clean carefully, but items like candles, diffusers, or delicate decor can be easy to bump or spill. If anything is especially fragile, feel free to tuck it away before we arrive. And for safety, please blow out any candles or incense before your appointment — we can’t clean near open flames.

portal-thermometer Not Feeling Well??

If someone in your home is sick on cleaning day, we ask that they stay in one room during the visit. To protect our team’s health, we won’t clean that room — but we’ll take care of the rest of the home as usual. If you'd prefer to skip the visit entirely, just let us know and we’ll be happy to reschedule.

portal-phone Make a Change? Contact Us!?

If you need to update your entry instructions, make a change to your appointment, or ask a question, our office is here to help! Call, text, or email us directly. We’ll make sure your request gets where it needs to go. Text is best!

portal-stop What We Don’t Clean

While we aim to leave your home fresh and sparkling, there are a few areas we do not clean as part of our service: Pet messes (including accidents or litter boxes), Bodily fluids (vomit, blood, etc.), Mold or mildew remediation, Exterior areas of the home (garages, yards, etc.), Unfinished or unsafe areas (attics, basements, construction zones)

portal-target Want Us to Focus on Something Special?

We’re happy to customize your cleaning, just let us know in advance. All special requests must be communicated to the office before your appointment.
